About Blueprint Newspapers

Blueprint is an Abuja-based national newspaper covering federal politics, governance, security, business and northern Nigerian affairs. Its position in the federal capital is reflected in close reporting on ministries, the National Assembly, public appointments and federal policy, and it carries northern regional stories that Lagos-centred titles often treat briefly.

It suits readers tracking federal government activity and northern political developments in the same place. As with other titles reporting closely on government, its news reporting and its opinion pages serve different functions and are worth reading as such.

Pair it with a southern national daily for a different regional vantage on the same federal story, and with an investigative newsroom when spending or security figures are in dispute.
